System Recovery

Hi,

I have just performed a system recovery on my pc but can no longer access my
files. I am now longging on as owner but my files are in owner.adam. I can't
remember what I have to do to access them - I know it involved renaming
something?!?!

Can anyone advise?

How did you complete the system recovery. when I get into the recovery console I don't know what to do from there.
