Good morning, I have a big problem. My system Windows XP home edition, some
days ago, after several attempts to start without result, proposed me to
re-install the original installation allowing to save my dates in a directory
named "My backup 20 02 2008".
I have made so but later I have had not been able to recover the programs
how they were previously.
In particular Internet Explorer don't allow me to connect to none of the
microsoft sites, Outlook Express completely lost my address book, many others
programs need to be re-built.
Can you suggest me what to do
Thank you.

A non destructive system recovery is the same as a full install except that
you can save your files.Your registry is started out fresh so you will have
to reinstall all programs and reupdate windows. If the recovery saved your
address book then first you will have to find it and heres a link to get you
started

Thank you Jake for your reply that, at least, allow me to have a better
knowledge of my problem. I have already reinstalled many programs but, now,
the first problem is that I can't link none of microsoft sites also if my
windows XP is genuine, how can I do? In fact in this moment I'm writing from
another PC.
Thank you in advance, Cosmoson.
