I always have system reboot when i remove my memory card reader from the USB
connection, i only got this problem after re-installing windows.

I'm sorry to use an existing thread but when I click new thread, I am not
able to create a new thread.

I just installed XP on my HP Pavillion. Now when I boot up, sometimes the
mouse won't work until I reboot 2 or 3 times. Any idea how to resolve this?

Also if anyone knows what is preventing me from creating a new thread,
please let me know.
Ron

The web interface is preventing it, use a news reader app instead of the
crappy web interface.

You have one included with XP, Outlook Express. Go to tools, accounts, click
add, then news, the server is msnews.microsoft.com.

which one do you suggest and how do I get it?

Here's my usual cut/paste about using a newsreader:

Since you are using the web interface, you may not realize that this is
really a newsgroup. You will get far more out of this resource if you
learn to use a newsreader. There are many good newsreaders for Windows,
but you can use Outlook Express since you already have it. Here are
some links to information about newsgroups:

Thanks for the post. I stop it as usual, click on "safly remove hardware" and
stop it and i got immediate reboot. I used to remove it before without doing
anything and without any problem, why i do have this problem now?

Thanks

If you're familiar with Event Viewer, it will show you something about
the problem which should be helpful. You are welcome to post the log
entry here.
