System reboot w/ error "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL"

When playing games such as Rise of Nations and Command
and Conquer Generals(only two games tested), system
crashes a few minutes in and displays this message:

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
***STOP: 0x000000D1 ...

any suggestions?
 
Hi Drew.

You probably have a bad video card or sound card driver. I suggest you
download the latest drivers for your hardware from the internet. if its not
the driver its most likely the hardware itself.
