These are the readings I get when I click on the "Control Panel," "System and Maintenance" and "System" menu: "Processor: Not Available" and "Memory (RAM): Not available." How can I get the correct readings?

Cheers,

Educated guess: Is Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) service started/running? To verify, click Start, type "services.msc" and press ENTER.

BTW, WMI should be running (set to Automatic start)

I have the same problem. I know it has been working since I purchased Vista
Ultimate. I just happen to check and somewhere down the line it has
Processor: Not available and Memory: Not Available. No affect on system
performance just cosmetic but I would like to know what happened or how do I
change it.
