Hi,
I have a Lexmark z31 printer on a Windows 2000 machine with SP4 and when
printing even the smallest jobs (simple text) it takes hours with System
process at 99% kernel mode and the KB count on the print queue going up very
very slowly, a few KB every 15 mins or so, somtimes a reboot gets it to
print faster. Does anybody know how to get this to print reliabily and
quickly? I have tried every mode from Normal, BiDir, EPP and ECP and the
same thing. Happens on every printer, Lexmark z31 color and also a HP
Laserjet 5L.
Thanks.
