system problems.....

1-when running internet repair tool I receive a message
that internet explore 6 could not be repaired. Please run
set up again???
2-windows cookies has index with our name address
@internet washer[2] and others, how do I delete this
3-running task has weather, save, spyblast etc... how do I
delete these, and how do they get here?
4-can not run dr watson
5-most of this of course is under ms system information 32-
bit module, 16-bit module has stuff I need to delete????
6-last but not least i received an email from spynuker
saying my system had been inflitrated and files infected.
they said if i purchased their software they could correct
this and stop pop ups.How do they inflitrate my system and
is this true... what advice do you have for me on these
matters????????

They are (probably) lying. You can turn off Messenger pop-ups by disabling
the Messenger service. (Internet Explorer pop-ups are generated by whatever
website you happen to be visiting; if you have problems, don't go there.)

1. I don't know what the "internet repair tool" is.
2. If you can start IE, go to Tools/InternetOptions and
click on ViewObjects. You can then simply delete whatever
cookie or cached file you want.
3. They're there because someone clicked on "OK" when
an install prompt was presented while surfing with IE. If
you go to the control panel and go to Add or Remove
Software, you can browse through there to find these
guys and then uninstall them.
4. I don't know what to do here. Sorry.
5. Some of your apps may have been 16-bit ones. See my
answer to (3).
6. Yes, disable messenger.
