system problem

I just recently got my computer and it will not allow me
to open downloaded files. I keep getting an error
message saying that the system cannot find the file and
the path is wrong. But when I look for the file it is
there. Any suggestions? Thank you.
 
Can you tell us what the path is? Then maybe someone here will be able to
see what is wrong.
