System problem

I have installed the windows XP proffessional on my
computer and also the service pack 1(express is also
installed. But recenlty I am facing problem in shutting
down my system. When I gove command for shutdown the
system shutsdown normally but immediatly starts rebooting
again. The system was recently attacked by the blaster
virus which has been successfully quarantined and deleted.
Please let me know how set right this problem

control panel/system/advanced/startup and recovery settings

disable automatically restart.

Post the information you get on the blue screen.

You could also check the system event log for errors labelled "save dump" or
"system error"

Post the latest.
