I know a lot of the MVP people think that XP and Norton stuff are pretty
incompatible ... Any thoughts about XP Home with Iola's System Mechanic 6
(from Zone Alarm)? It's on sale for $20 ... think it's worth it? Thanks

Why pay for something that can't do any more than the tools already
installed on xp...Furthermore,it can easily screw up youre OS.

where are these same tools in XP that you speak of? I've never seen or
heard of them.

I use it. I love it. I have NEVER had problems with it.

It' s just like those who bitch about MS and WIN XP. If yor PC goes
south, blame it on everything except yourself! That's the best way,
these days, I guess.

Merry Christmas!

I just checked Windows Marketplace. It is compatible with Win XP.

Thequestion is not with whether it's compatible with Windows XP, it's
whether it's worth $20.

In my view, thew answer is no. I think programs like this are more likely to
cause problems than to solve them, and I wouldn't have it if it were free.

After viewing the iolo webpage, I tend to agree. I always have a problem
with any app that claims to fix windows automatically.

Shame not everyone does.
