My system is windows XP 3: when I try to shut down my computer, yet refuses
to do so. I click the start, right-click the shutdown button, the window pops
up. So I can select shutdown, stand by, or restart. It makes no difference
which one I select the same thing happens every time. And that is the process
starts, but just when you think of the computer should turn off. It locks up,
or if you're setting up for standby. Just when you think it should go to
standby. It locks up, if you go to restart it locks up just at a final point
before it shuts down. I hope this makes sense to someone. It's very
frustrating to me. To say the very least, I am not computer literate Please
help!
