System Lock-Up During Internet Browsing

After linking to about three or four URLs, either on the
same web site or from one site to another, my system
ALWAYS locks up and freezes. The only way for me
to "unlock" the screen is to "CTL-ALT-DELETE" to the Task
Manager and terminate the tasks that are running, or not
responding, as the case may be.

I don't think it's a "not enough memory" issue,...but I'm
not sure. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is
causing this problem and how to correct it?
