When I open Windows task manager I can see that CPU valu of the System Idle
Process is going up and down from 33 to 95 and over. I also noticed that. I
wanted to kill the process but can not do it. That is slowing down the
computer a lot.
Is there anything I can do?
System Idle Process means exactly what it says - the system is idle.
It has nothing to do and that is what it is doing - nothing.
If System Idle is at 33 percent fairly often then your system is
relatively busy. Most computers show a system idle percent in the 90s
almost constantly unless they are infested with a
virus/trojan/malware.
To see what is using the CPU open Task Manager, go to the Processes
tab, and click twice on the CPU column header. That will put the
highest values at the top of the list and you can easily see what is
using the most CPU time.
And you can safely ignore the System Idle Process value.
Good luck
