System hangs when closing bowser window.

Just finished a clean install of Win 98. Installed all
updates. Computer locks up when closing the Internet
Explorer 6.0 browser window. Any ideas?

Do you get any error message?

What is running when you close IE.

Run MSCONFIG from the start/Run applet and look in StartUP.

Anything that you are not aware?
