system hangs at win me logo

when starting up systems hangs at logo- bootlog shows
logo disabled- can reboot in safe mode and can
rebootusing normal is there a way to enable logo?
 
Win ME logo? This is a Windows 2000 newsgroup.
ME and 2000 are totally unrelated.
