System hangs after continous usage~something to do with Ci service

Hi,

I have a IBM T30 that has served me very well for a year
and a half. Recent software modifications, suspect IIS
installation (but have since uninstalled) caused recent
hanging. Normally, 4-5 hours into usage in office,
computer screen will freeze completely for 3-4 minutes
before releasing, then freeze again. Have to shut down
and reboot.

Checked Event Viewer and last recorded error is
always "Ci" Source, event ID: 4147.

I am clueless as to what to do next...

Pls Help, anyone.
 
Hi,

Is it cidaemon? Then it would have to do with index server. Try
disabling the index server service going to Run > Start > services.msc
and scrolling down to it, right-clicking and in properties, choosing
disable.
