system halt

hello my system halts in normal mode, but works with safe
mode.
appears the desktop photo and stops. what can i do for
reapir files corrupted? have xp any tool? i already try
the last good point of the system.

If you can get onto your desktop in safemode i would run a command prompt by
clicking run then typing cmd then once in the cmd typing sfc /scannow.
This might fix ur problem but if it doesn't do a repair install of xp. Do
this by booting off the cd and following the prompts just make sure u don't
choose the recovery console.
