Hi
My system was hacked & I came to know only when I was
unable to open my Folders N files.
What the hacker did is that he has changed the security
options. I have to open every file / folder change the
security to wasif from everone. This I have to
individually on every file & its really painstaking on 80
GB HDD.
Please help me
Thanks
Wasif

Are you sure that that was the only thing he/she did?
If you go to the Security tab of your drive and choose Advanced, you can
check a box for resetting permissions on all files and subfolders.

In combination with your other posts, it sounds like you have multiple
problems possibly caused by a hacker. I would really consider formatting
the hard drive and/or reinstalling Windows and all other software, because
otherwise the hacker may be able to get right back into your system. you do
want to figure out how to more fully secure your system or else reinstalling
Windows might not prevent you from being hacked again. Here's some info:

PS if you had a firewall, you probably would not have been hacked or at
least you might know a little about who hacked you and how. There are even
free firewalls out there like www.kerio.com, and www.grisoft.com is free
antivirus, also recommended.
