System freezing

I can be on line for 10 minutes and my system freezes up
and I have to reboot it every time. What can prevent this
from happening?

control panel---internet options---delete cookies,delete
history,delete files(check all offline content)....start -
--all programs---accesories---system tools---disc cleanup
(click this,and run it thru,check all boxes except
compress old files),then go back to same system tools and
do a disc defrag.should free you right up.
