All MS updates are installed and all drivers are up to date. However,
my system completly freezes with no warning when running Flight Sim X
Deluxe (timing varies from a few minutes to up to an hour) AND when on a
Skype Video call (again time varies). Video calls on Yahoo Msgr. do not
freeze system.

On checking Event Viewer these freezes all have ERROR id 7026 "The
following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load" PCIde
and Vialde. I have ckd and both are up to date.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction as to a) what to do or
b) what program/process mahy be causing this problem.

Thanks in advance for any assistance

Can you please post complete Error Reports.

A tip for posting copies of Error Reports! Run Event Viewer and double
click on the error you want to copy. In the window, which appears is a
button resembling two pages. Click the button and close Event
Viewer. Now start your message (email) and do a paste into the body of
the message. Make sure this is the first paste after exiting from
Event Viewer.

What is the CPU and how much RAM does the computer have? Right click on
the My Computer icon on ther Desktop and select Properties to get this
information.

Try Ctrl+Alt+Delete to select Task Manager and click the Performance
Tab. Under Commit Charge what is the Total, the Limit and the Peak?

Hope this helps.

Gerry, While I am not an expert I am by no means a novice. This one
really has me stumped. None of my other programs seems to be effected.
Other games (eg. TW Golg 2008 play with no problems). I have tried
adjusting settings in FSX to the minimum with no joy. (settings don't
seem to effect the freeze problem).

I certainly appreciate your response and look forward to any suggestions
you may have

Thanks,
Bill Bishop
