System File Checker

After SFC runs successfully, I find only a report to that effect in the
Event Viewer. Is there a "log" of some kind that will tell me whether SFC
actually found any "missing or corrupt" files? If so, where do I find it?

In the event viewer you will see that SFC started and SFC stopped, any files
replaced will be inbetween these.
