Hi I am getting this infamous audio message on my computer but only when I
am playing World of Warcraft, if I exit the game it stops. I don't know how
to turn the damn audio message off since it's annoying as hell! Anyone have
a suggestion for this? Again my computer works fine except in game I keep
hearing this and it annoys the crap out of me! :(

This error message could mean trouble ahead. Like maybe a failing
power supply. Get a copy of Asus Probe or MBM5 (whatever is working
for you). MBM5 has a "log to file" option, while Asus Probe records
its history graphically. Once either Asus Probe or MBM5 (but not
both of them at the same time) is running, do some gaming. Wait
until you get some of the annoying messages, game for a minute or
two longer, then quit the game, and check the voltage monitor
info collected. (MBM5 can collect readings every 10 seconds, not
sure about Asus Probe. The more frequently collected the better.)
If you find that your +5V is low (like less than 4.75 or really
low like 4.50), it could be that your power supply is getting weak.

You can also check your machine health with:

1) Memtest86 from memtest.org (creates a self booting test floppy)
2) Prime95 (torture test option) from mersenne.org
3) 3DMark2001SE (madonion/futuremark - likely still archived on
the net somewhere) - run the program in demo mode and see if
it can run overnight.

If any of those programs throws errors, there could be more
wrong than just the power supply. If the power supply is low,
fix it first, then repeat the three tests above.

HTH,
Paul

Thank you for your valuable info. I did one thing that fixed the issue and
that was I took out my GForce4 TI 4200 and put in my old GForce 2 and it
stopped giving that message. I will see if I can replace the card and if it
fixes the problem.

Your GeForce 4 is probably drawing more power from the PSU than the GeForce
2, thus causing the message.
Try a different PSU.
