System Explorers/Agents not running properly

All,

I had a terrible calamity and had to reinstall my main XP Pro
installation. Previously, Antispyware ran just fine, but now for the life of
me, I can't it to run properly under the new install. It appears to install
and load fine, but the "System Explorers" will not work. Clicking on the
button for them just produces a blank display area. Second, the real-time
agents aren't working either. The main screen says they are all active, but
clicking on them produces a blank display with a little "inactive" message.

There is an "errors.log" file in the Antispyware directory, and here is
the contents after the last install. Note there appears to be an
out-of-memory error in some component. This machine has 1GB of physical
memory, and, with the page file, a commit-charge limit of 2.2GB. Current
commit charge is just 270MB.

Thanks for any help. -publius

Sometimes when I post that question, I get a reply from somebody asking why
I'm picking on Norton. I'm not picking on Norton--it's just a clear
corrolation.

Most folks seeing that issue haven't been through what you went through,
though--it's a relatively minor software compatibility issue which will go
away with beta2.

(I have definitely heard that story before, though--and sympathize, and
agree with the lessons you've learned.)
