system explorer tool not showing up

I can see nothing in the tab to the left side. I have
tried to reinstall and still the same thing. I have
installed it on two other pc's without this problem.

I have the same problem. The quick help feature says
something about clicking on 'expand icons' but I have no
such setting.

Any advice?
