Hi Brian,
There is no "system.exe" file in WindowsXP, so I suspect what you actually
have is the remnants of a trojan or incompletely uninstalled bit of
software. Start/run msinfo32, expand the software environment and click on
the startup programs. Look in this list for an entry that loads system.exe.
Make note of where the program is loading from, as this is where you will
need to go to remove the reference. Please post back with the location if
you are unsure how to proceed for further direections.
