Hello

I have one domain based on windows server 2003 EE with three sites
When I try to connect to a shared folder resource from DC to DC on the same or different site, all is OK

But,when I try to connect to a shared folder resource from a DC to a Windows 2000 or 2003 Server on the same or different site I always get the error message

"System error 1240 has occurre
The account is not authorized to log in from this station

I have also tried it from a DOS prompt with the Net Use command and specified the Administrator account from the domain and also the Server´s local Administrator account
Nothing helps

From the server to the DC is never a problem

Any ideas

Check the LAN Manager Authentication Level Make sure all involved computers
are set to a compatible level. For example, you need to change the policy on
the server to allow NTLM or configure the client computer to support NTLMv2.
If policy is set to "(5) Send NTLMv2 Only\Refuse LM & NTLM" on the machine
to which you are attempting to connect (target computer), you will need to
either lower the setting on that machine, or set the security to the same
setting on the machine from which you are connecting (source computer). Find
the proper location where you can change the 'LAN Manager Authentication
Level' to set the client and the server to the same level. Once you find the
policy that is setting the LAN Manager Authentication Level, and your goal
is to connect to and from downlevel systems, lower the value to at least
"(1) Send LM & NTLM - use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated".

For example, you may have to look on the domain controller, or at the domain
controller's policies.
