System does not boot

Hi!
I repair my Xp ..it works for few days (say 3) and
then all of a sudden system shuts down or tries to restart.
It stays in loop to boot but does not (unless i repair Xp).
When its in loop i can go into BIOS settings but Windows
page doesn't appear even for once. Need help.

If you do a Repair Install and have done more than one, I would save all
your important data and do a format and clean
install. You may have a virus that the Repair Install does not remove.
Have you checked for virus?

Disable autorestart. Then, the next time you get the infamous BSOD, copy
the entire text of the stop code.
Post this information. Without the error code, etc., it will be very hard
for anyone to help you.

I have done format-install.
Yeah i believe this is something like virus
I have been thru Norton antivirus scan but
nothing appeared. At the moment I am downloading
the latest definitions. Hope this may help.
Meanwhile further suggestions are highly appreciated.

Hi...last night i figured out its some
"Autoplay" virus. When i right-click
any drive, there is an option of Autoplay.
SO Help reqd.
