System Crashes when updating Vista Experience Index

When I try to update my Vista Experience Update, my computer crashes and the
goes to a blue screen to do a memory dump. I recently added memory and
updated some things and would like to see what it is now. I am running Vista
Home Ultimate edition.
 
Hi Tim,

Added memory to existing? Are you sure the sticks are compatible with each
other? Click start, type "memory" and run the memory diagnostic tool that
appears in the menu. See what this tells you about the system ram.

There's Home Basic, Home Premium, and Ultimate, but no Home Ultimate. Just
picking nits.
