Possibly a heat problem or loose connection. Load ada32
and check your cpu and case temps and also push all the
connectors home.

Hope that helps

I've had the same problem with my last 3 Intel computers.
The first one was an Intel D850GB motherboard and the
present one is an SE7505VB2 with 2 XEON CPU's, 1GB DDR266,
registered ECC memory, Adaptec 39320R SCSI adaptor, 34 GB
Seagate ST336753LW ultra320 SCSI drive, ATI 8500 All In
Wonder AGP Display adaptor. Both computers use the same
Windows XP Professional OS(The D850GB motherboard was
retired). Both computers exhibited the Surprise Reboot
Problem anywhere fom 0 to 4 times a 15 hour day. The
D850GB Blue Screen of Death would say "Page Fault in a non-
paged area". The new board (SE7505VB2) says "bad pool
caller". This problem is very annoying as I am running
real time software and I always lose data permanently.
(Why should I pay Microsoft $90 to fix their problems?)The
third computer is an Intel 845CA motherboard runing IDE
drives that only reboots about once a week.
We also run a MSI8360E board running an AMD CPU with SCSI
drives and WIN XP. That one never does a surprise reboot,
but has a shut down problem with word for windows when I
try to close a file (no data gets lost, however).

addendum:
The problem can happen without running any
applications. Just reboot the computer and wait.
Eventually the problem automatically occurs and the
computer reboots.
