System A.M. shutdowns--PT 2

As a follow-up to the 06-02 posting, the problem continues.

Tried Process Monitor but it does not generate a saved log at the time of
shutting down. Googled for something that might but could not find anything
that might be useful. There are a bunch of programs for automating a
shutdown, but those won't work for my problem.

Any suggestions for a program that can show activity like Process Monitor
does and will create AND save a log, at the same time, so that I can see
what is actually running when the system wants to shut down.

Thanks
Ray

You can see in Task Manager what's running when you shut the system down

If you have hidden processes which bypass the kernal then you have a rootkit
