System 32 Folder appears at startup

Brand new system with Windows XP.
Been using for about 1 month.
A few days ago, after I installed a new game "Freelancer"
from Microsoft, whenever I log on to the computer, the
System 32 folder opens up. Why is this happenining, and
how can I stop it.
