I am currently trying to create a Ghost image, when i
apply the image to the machine it is asking me for the W2K
serial number. I have already created an image for a
series of laptops and have had no problems. I am
duplicating everything i have done previously, but can't
get it to stop asking for it.......help please!!

you will need to sysprep this machine again..

before you do check the sysprep.inf file you are using and ensure the
entries for license are correct ..

e.g

[UserData]
FullName=john doe
OrgName=myorg
ProductId=aaaaa-bbbbb-ccccc-ddddd-eeee

Thnks for the reply but i have already tried this. I have
already created an image which works on all 'C' series
Dell laptops and it has worked fine for nearly 18 months.
It is updated whenever needed and the sysprep is never a
problem. We also have a image for Dell Optiplex desktops
which also works fine......its just this PWS530 that is
playing up...
