Im trying to find out how to make shorter names for files
for the device drivers so that I can incorporate them into
sysprep, for use on a pc that is a little different than
the host pc. windows only allows 256 naming scheme. Im
trying to make them shorter. Please help.

Hi Chad,

Need more info about what you are running into. I have never seen a
directory structure with Sysprep where any of the paths approached the
256 character limit. So if you can give us a complete description of
what you are running into and what path is exceeding this limit it would
help. Also you may want to post your info on the
win2000.setup_deployment group because that is where all the Sysprep
experts will be.
