We're deploying new XP Pro computers. Sysprep will NOT run under local PC
admin account. It says you must be logged in as an administrator, but we
already are. I've tried disjoining from domain and running under a
workgroup, but same message. Sysprep runs just fine when you're logged in to
the network domain and as the domain admin. We had the same problem with our
W2K PC's. Why won't this work? I've searched the web high and low and can't
find as answer (yes, we are using sysprep specifically for our version and SP
of XP).

Is the Administrator account in the Administrator's group?

Can you create another local admin account and try it from that account?
