I am currently using sysprep 2.0 on Windows XP Professional
and was wondering if there are any potential problems running sysprep
on an installation many times. I recently ran sysprep on a newly installed
Windows XP box and the process lasted a few minutes. I used the mini setup
opton and told sysprep to shut the machine down after it was done.
After rebooting and running through the setup etc, I ran sysprep again
with the
same options. This time the process lasted only a few seconds before
the machine
shutdown. I am just curious why such a difference in time between the two
sysprep runs. Any ideas? Thanks.
