Sysprep Error - Freezing Prior To Mini Setup

Hi,

We are Dell shop and work basically with the Optiplex series. When I load
our image on the GX620's sysprep halts right before the mini setup stage.
If I then power cycle the computer it then works flawlessly. All drivers
come up fine and the newly imaged computer behaves properly. This is an
image that was created on a GX280 and works without a problem on GX270's
and GX280's.

GX620's are the first models we have that are really multiprocessor. The
only thing that comes to mind is that I'm having a HAL issue but all
models were already using "ACPI Multiprocessor PC". I figured that since
they all used the same HAL to begin with the dual core processor on the
620 would not be an issue. I'm also not sure why it freezes the first time
but if you restart the computer it works normally. Could this also be a
BIOS setting issue?

I'd appreciate any help to make this not freeze the first time around

Thanks

My first thought is yes, do you have the BIOS set to halt at ANY errors?

Additionally, the imaging software used might contribute. Serial ATA driver
issues too...
