Is one sysprep image that was configured on an ACPI
Uniprocessor compatable with imaged back to a system that
is Advanced Configuration and Power Interface(ACPI)PC.

There seems to be different drivers that are loaded but
they are both ACPI no????

Thanks

User1,

There is one major difference between these 2 HAL types

Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) PC
ACPI PIC
This HAL utilizes a PIC chipset

ACPI Uniprocessor
ACPI APIC UP
This HAL utilizes a APIC chipset.

APIC supports more interupts and is more common in the newer machines.
