Can someone tell me what this means, besides "Game over, you are screwed." I
know that bit already. (Usually in the terms of "This machine must be
activated," "Cannot activate", rinse and repeat until you want to install
Freebsd purely to change the pain.)
Nowhere can I find anything telling me how I get to 45106 and where I can
stop before it gets that bad.
OEM image from OEM cd (yes, I have 50 of these, I am in pain, don't worry,
it gets worse.) Since I don't want to install and configure 50 boxes one
after the other, I want to build one and sysprep it then make 49 clones and
make them work.
I know sysprep + OEM isn't supported, I've already seen any number of those
posts.
What I want know is how to get around this? Because next month I get 50 more.
This is only a stop gap until I manage to saw off both heads struggling with
XP Embedded since that is where I plan to go next. Because there is no way in
hell I am doing this for 8600 boxes if they go ahead with that insane project.
MGAtool rocks, but it also tells me that the key in the sysprep image is the
key that it was originally installed with. I thought Sysprep was supposed to
kill that?
Help!
