SysExplr.EXE Application Error

I have just installed a automatic windows update. Since
this patch was installed I receive the following message
on re-booting the PC:

SysExplr.EXE - Application Error
The application failed to intialize properly (0xc0000005).
Click on OK to terminate the application.

I am running Windows 2000 with SP4. Do anyone have any
ideas how to solve this problem? Thanks in advance.
