Should there be anything in windows\sys32\tools?
This folder is empty but every time I boot I get a windows
alert box stating the file windows\sys32
\tools\delfolders.exe could not be found.
I close the window and all then seems to be ok but how can
I stop this happening?

I just checked on two XP computers, and neither of them has a folder
called windows\sys32.

They both have a windows\system32 folder. However, there isn't a
tools folder in it.

So, I'd say that windows\sys32\tools isn't part of Windows XP. It
could have been created something else, and that something else could
be a computer virus or spyware program. Run antivirus and spyware
scans. Go to Start | Run | Msconfig | Startup and disable the
reference to "delfolders.exe" if it's there.
