I have to NOT display the icon in the sys tray but after it
does a scheduled scan it reappears.

Thats how it currently works in the beta 1 release, which build are you
running? Try updating to 614 to see if it will fix the problem.

You can repair Windows AntiSpyware using Add or Remove Programs in Control
Panel. Click Microsoft AntiSpyware and click Change. Click Next, and then
click Update.

If none of those work, its just a bug you are gonna have to live with until
beta 2.

This is a bug. I see the same thing in all the office machines I have that
setting on. I would not expect this to be fixed before beta2.

I have noticed the same issue. To make it go away until the
next scan is run you can right click on it, shutdown MSAS,
then double click on the desktop icon to restart the
program. The icon won't appear until the next scan is
run....it's a bug for sure.

Hello Dick,

can you test this for me!

Goto: Start/Control Panel/Add-Remove programs/MSAS
then click on support info!!!
Then click on repair!

This because I had the same but after this way to repair the icon sticks
there were it belong.
