I'm using SyncToy 1.2.0.75 to synchronize a folder in "My Documents" on
my D: drive with my entire M: drive, which is on a VPN. I've excluded
subfolders but SyncToy won't recognize my selection and tries to
synchronize everything! Curiously, when I tried to synchronize a folder
on my D: drive with a folder on my M: drive (rather than the root
directory), SyncToy did honour my choices to exclude certain subfolders.
So it's working some of the time but not when I most need it. Can this
be fixed?
On another issue, if I do a preview of a synchronization I can exclude
certain operations from being performed by removing checkmarks in the
"Active" column. However, SyncToy won't let me exclude "Create Folder"
operations. Why not?
