SyncToy window loads at startup

The folder with the path of C:\Program Files\Microsoft\ appears automatically
everytime I start my computer. The folder has only the SyncToy folder in it
which contains all of its program files. I tried uninstalling and deleting
all left over files and reinstalling, but it does the same thing. The program
works fine, but it's very annoying to have to close the window everyday.

I have had SyncToy installed for a number of months without problem.
Yesterday I noticed that the folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft\, which
contained just the one folder "SyncToy", was being shown automatically at
startup.

I checked the registry entries for the following folder \HKEY_CURRENT
_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and found a Name
"Reminder" with a data entry of C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Money\System\reminder.exe but not enclosed in quotes as the other entries
were. I modified the entry to include the quotes. After I logged off and
logged in again the offending folder was no longer displayed.

I have put this down to an abortive attempt to install Microsoft Money which
coincided with the appearance of the folder. This would suggest that the
problem may not lie with Synctoy at all, and could be down to other software
which has not installed correctly.

Let me know if the above has helped.

Thanks a lot! I actually didn't expect to get an answer to this. My quoteless
one happened to be the microsoft word update detect. Thanks for the quick fix.
