Synctoy V1.2 Doesn't Download

I had a prior version of Sunctoy - V1.x, and when attempting to download the
new version, the license agreement for version 1.x is shown, and version 1.x
is downloaded again - my prior folder transfers are also there. I tried
uninstalling synctoy, and even deleting all registry entriesthat contain
synctoy, but the problem remains. Does anyone have any ideas what I can try?

Yes, this is where I am downloading from, but for some reason it downloads
version 1.1 - whether I check the box to "repair" or "remove" - I unisntall,
and then re-install and still get version 1.1. I also have downloaded V1.2
on another machine OK (one that never had synctoy before), but I've tried
this on four machines that previously had an earlier version, with the same
bad results. Was this a first install for your PC?

No, I previously had versions 1.0 and 1.1 installed.

I'm a little confused by your mention of "repair" or "remove". When I go to
the link I provided and, after doing the Windows Validation thing, I get the
option to download the file "Setup.msi". I download the file to my hard
drive, right-click on it, and select install. It then walks me through an
installation of SyncToy. I leave all the defaults as is and proceed with the
install by clicking "Next" a few times. Then I am good to go. I don't recall
any prompts for "Repair" or "Remove".
