Hello Alex,
I can't say that I've had an awful lot of luck using echo in synctoy whereas
synchronize is perfect. However both operations are pretty much the same
except changes in Echo go from left to right only.
Based on the above here are a few things to try or look at.
(1.) Make sure that the source "My Documents" folder is the left item of the
folder pair and the network location in the right item.
(2.) You mention CS projects below, can I assume that is Adobe PhotoShop CS?
If so you might want to close all Adobe applications before attempting the
echo.
(3.) Bring up the task manager and see if there are processes or
applications that may be locking any files in your My Documents folder. DO
NOT terminate these UNLESS you know what your doing, I would suggest doing a
reboot and attempting the Sync before doing anything else
(4) On either machine do you have any applications that monitor the machine?
I know some products such as Norton Ghost or other antivirus applications
may cause problems but this is unlikely.
I hope something here helps and if I think of anything else I'll let you
know.
All the best,
Damien Murphy [MSFT]

Hey Damien,
Thanks so much for replying.
I was echoing the entire My Documents folder. Most of the files went over
fine. One of the folders was called Projects in which there were other
folders of different CS projects I was workin on. After echoing, the
machine
to which I echoed had the folders, but none of the files for certain
projects.
I do not believe that any of the folders that did not work had any special
attributes and SyncToy did not report any errors.
Thanks,
Alex

What specific folders are not being echoed? Check these folder properties
(select the folder and ALT+ENTER) and see if any have extra security
protection or perhaps have the hidden or system attributes set.

Currently I am echoing the My Documents folder to a network share. For
some
reason certain files and folders are not being copied. What is even
more
strange is that sometimes the folder is made but no files are polied to
it.
Any clue how to fix?
Thanks,
Alex
