How can I stop an Explorer Window with the SyncToy folder appearing at every
startup? or is it a bug that is on the SyncToy's Team 'to be fixed list' ?
I managed to fix this problem before thanks to the answer by 'alYsa' in the
Windows XP Photos list ...
"Unwanted Explorer windows appears at every login...", dated 10/6/20....
But now I have discovered that every time I use the 'Microsoft Works
Calendar' to set myself a reminder it makes the SyncToy folder window appear
at start-up along with the Calendar Reminder.
In the Registry:
\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run,
the Microsoft Works Calendar makes an entry without the “…..†like this:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Works\WkDetect.exe, it does this every time I set
a Calendar Reminder.
Still I find SyncToy very usefull and just put up with this small anoyance
at startup.
Would any one know of a way round this please, or can some one tell me is
this problem on the 'to be fixed list'?...many thanks,
