Synctoy Combine doesn't work

I have echo'd a folder up to our fileserver (samba) via vpn. This
worked nicely. That is the central repository.

At another site, I wish to combine folders to this site. This is where
things got strange.

Synctoy ran, and did nothing. So I ran it again, and it copied created
the folders but did not copy any files.

What is going on here? This contrary to what is supposed to happen.

Is it confused due to the other version echoing? I had changed that
site to a combine, but it scheduled to run later tonight, and has not
run yet.

Otherwise, it seems to be ok, except for a couple of UI stupidities.

Why, why, why can't you minimise the program? Why does windows allow
these things, it drives me nuts. Why can't I, the user, iconise any
program?

The thing runs, takes over your desktop and you can't minimise it... I
just don't get this behaviour...
 
UPDATE:

Even stranger...

If you run a preview, it will list out all the files to copy, and then
you can do a 'select all' and copy them up... except this wont work for
scheduling.

Perhaps this is the difference between a "toy" and a "product". ;-)
