Synctoy and Microsoft Access databases

Hey everyone, directed here from another forum. I have a Microsoft Access
database on my home PC, and have just bought a laptop to do some inventory
control with. This requires me to go quite aways outside my wireless network
in my home office, so I'd like to have a copy of my database on my laptop and
somehow sync it to the home computer when I get back inside. Obviously I'd
like to use the wireless network to do this. I already have setup the network
for sharing folders, so that's not a problem. I've tried using the Briefcase
folders but kept getting an error. Will Synctoy do what I need it to do? I
have several queries and reports that are run in the database to generate
reports and such, and using the laptop will save me a ton of writing stuff
down manually.
I did a search of the group and didn't see an answer that fit my above
question, so I hope I didn't miss anything.

Thanks,

Slavex

I'm looking for the answer to this question as well.
I was under the impresstion that I could access the files copied to my
laptop wjilst not on my network at home. Is there a way? Does anyone know
another program that does this?

I have been doing specifically what you want to do using SyncToy, it's easy
to set up as long as you remember that it synchronises folders as opposed to
individual files.

Use Access to save your database to a new folder (include any files you
change regularly that are associated with the database in the same folder)
on both your machines and then use SyncToy to update in whichever direction
you want.

Hope this helps
