Synctoy and DVD Drive

I am trying to Sync files I have on a DVD+RW with a folder on my hard drive.
Even though there is room on the DVD, I get errors that it can not write
files to the DVD Disc because there is no room. Is there a way to sync with
ReWritable DVDs or CDs
 
i think i read that it cannot be used
with removable media.
