Bug 1 : The select subfolder doesn't seem to work. When I uncheck a
subfolder (and all it's subfolders) they are still synced by SyncToy

Bug 2 : When I sync files to my network drive, SyncToy will overwite files
even though they are present and not modified (the date is the same) This
only seems to happen on my network drive.

Hallo George

I downloaded V1.0.0.64 yesterday and it still has the fault of not honoring
the suddirectory selection.

Where can I get an older version that works?

Thank you

Paul

I *just* downloaded the latest version & it *still* copies all my files to my
network drive every time I try to sync, echo, etc -
I just want it to change the ones I changed!
It's a HUGE folder & takes HOURS to sync
Please help!

finally i switched to "second copy 7.0.160".
it´s perfect und suits all my needs without being to jerky.

hello,
still the same problem with 1.2.0.75. When I exclude some folders or
subfolders, it stille copies all my files.
Is there a solution

thanks
Loic

Hi

I have the same problem with version 1.4. All subfolders are copied even if
I exclude them from the selection. Each time I go into 'Options' it quite
happily remembers the correct exclusions, but it just doesn't act on them in
either the Preview or the Run.

Looking at this forum, the problem has been around for a few versions now.
Is anyone from Microsoft taking any notice of these posts??

Trevor, please try out the recently release SyncToy 2.0 Beta version which
should fix this issue. Let us know how it works out for you.

I've installed 2.0 beta. Love the concept, but still have the issue
described here. Syncing to a network drive using Vista as the source. It
seems to copy for hours and hours yet nothing changes...

The initial sync in any mode (sync, echo, etc.) works fine. On second sync,
all folders on the network (right folder) are set to delete and the right
files are set to copy to the original source.

Help? Thanks,
Potter
